Happy holiday season! Though Evin and I have been together for six years (and had a Christmas tree every year in college), this is our first Christmas as husband and wife. On Saturday we cut down our cute little Canaan fir at a local tree farm and brought it home, our first tree in the new house. Though it's a little skinny and probably only six feet fall, it's laden with what seems like hundreds of ornaments. A mix of Evin's childhood ornaments and mine, the sparkly and shiny glass balls we bought in college, and more than a few vintage pieces for good measure, plus four strands of lights and a bit of tinsel.
We love it. A lot.
