I present to you my last roll of black and white film for awhile...I'm out of film, I'm out of developer, and it's spring, so I'm out of reasons not to shoot color ;)
This roll began last Sunday and covered this past Saturday and early Sunday morning. Two parks and the Tidal Basin in DC (with cherry blossoms, of course). I developed it yesterday afternoon and discovered the negatives to have a nasty streak down one side, the cause of which is yet to be determined, but I have a few ideas. My apparently shotty developing technique is another reason to give monochromatic film a rest.
Shortly after developing this roll of film, my Yashica Mat came in rather sharp contact with the floor...as it fell off a table.........I'm not sure what exactly the damage is but I had to remove a 1/3-exposed roll of Ektar because the shutter just wouldn't fire and I need to investigate. The problem is, I'm kind of emotionally attached to the camera by this point so repeatedly discovering that it's not working is more than a little maddening.
We'll see what happens.
Madly love both canoe shots, especially the second one and the road with trees on either side. Obviously I'm very far behind on checking out blog posts :)
