This weekend I made my first ever batch of gingersnaps (I don't usually stray away from my favorites--Toll House!). They are a perfect November cookie (most likely perfect in December too)...I followed a Penzeys recipe, which stated that they are the best ever. I haven't eaten many ginger snaps in my life--I tend to like softer cookies--but these are delicious! I don't fully understand why they crisp up in an airtight container and get chewy (and delicious) when left out, but I won't argue. They're pretty, too...rolled in sugar with those cracked tops, you know I couldn't resist taking photos of them!
Looks yummy!
